Job Description / Responsibility

Vetting Legal and Land Documents.
Submission of Deposition before the Court in Civil cases on behalf of the Company.
Follow up ongoing Cases and Court procedure.
Take part in hearing of Misc. Case and Misc. Appeal in the Court of ADC/ AC Land.
Conversant with Land Laws, Registration Act, Labor Law, Law of Contract and relevant practice.
Coordinate and monitor litigation matters before the High Court Division, Judges` Courts, Revenue Courts and other judicial or quasi-judicial authorities.
Need to attend courts to monitor proceedings, obtain case updates, liaise with external lawyers and maintain accurate case records.
To prepare different kinds of Deeds such as MoU, Sale Deed, Purchase Deed, affidavits, General Power of Attorney, Irrevocable Power of Attorney, Foreign Power, Joint Venture Agreement, Partition Deed, Declaration Deed, Baina Deed, Legal Notice, Cases etc.
Maintaining documentation, mortgage creation, loan documentation, security perfection and related legal matters.
Visit locations outside Dhaka as required for litigation, land-related matters, investigations and liaison with local authorities.
Perform any other legal assignments as directed by the Head of Legal or Management.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor of Law (LLB)
Master of Law (LLM)

Experience Requirements

3 to 5 years
