Job Description / Responsibility
- Job Context
- Saidowla Private Enterprise (Ltd.) is seeking an experienced and result-oriented Production Manager to oversee the entire production operations of its Frozen Fish Processing Factory. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring production efficiency, product quality, food safety compliance, workforce management, and achievement of production targets while maintaining international standards.
- Job Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and supervise daily production activities of the frozen fish processing factory.
- Ensure production targets are achieved efficiently while maintaining product quality standards.
- Monitor fish processing, freezing, packaging, and storage operations.
- Implement and maintain HACCP, GMP, ISO, BRC, and food safety standards.
- Coordinate with Quality Assurance, Maintenance, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams.
- Optimize manpower utilization, production cost, and resource management.
- Monitor production KPIs and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- Lead, train, motivate, and evaluate production team members.
- Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance productivity and reduce wastage.
- Handle production-related audits and customer compliance requirements.
- Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed to minimize production downtime.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Fisheries, Food Engineering, Food Technology, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Additional training in HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000, BRC, or Food Safety Management will be an advantage.
Experience Requirements
- At least 5 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Shrimp, Food (Packaged), Beverage, Bakery (Cake, Biscuit, Bread)

- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Sound knowledge of frozen fish processing operations and cold chain management.
- Excellent understanding of food safety and quality management systems.
- Ability to work under pressure and achieve production targets.

- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
