Job Description / Responsibility
- Job Context
- Masala Bazaar Retails Ltd. is seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Operations Head to oversee and optimize all retail operations, supply chain activities, inventory management, customer service, and business performance. The ideal candidate will lead operational excellence initiatives, ensure smooth day-to-day business activities, and support the company`s growth strategy while maintaining high standards of efficiency and profitability.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage overall retail operations across all business units and outlets.
- Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Monitor sales performance, operational KPIs, and profitability targets.
- Oversee inventory planning, stock control, procurement coordination, and warehouse operations.
- Ensure effective coordination among Sales, Accounts, HR, Procurement, and Store Operations teams.
- Analyze business performance data and prepare management reports and recommendations.
- Manage vendor and supplier relationships to ensure uninterrupted business operations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and health & safety standards.
- Identify operational challenges and implement effective solutions.
- Lead, motivate, and develop operational teams to achieve organizational goals.
- Support expansion projects, new outlet launches, and process improvement initiatives.
- Ensure excellent customer experience and service quality across all operations.
Educational Requirements
- Master`s degree in Business Administration, Management, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
- MBA from a reputed university will be preferred.
Experience Requirements
- At least 5 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Bakery (Cake, Biscuit, Bread), Beverage, Chain shop, Food (Packaged)
