Job Description / Responsibility
- A reputed pharma plastic packaging goods manufacturer company is looking for a dynamic, proactive, and detail-oriented professional for the position of Asst. Manager/Manager – Foreign/Local Procurement. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing overseas procurement activities, import documentation, shipment coordination, supplier management, and ensuring timely delivery of imported materials.
- Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end foreign/Local procurement activities and coordinate with overseas suppliers.
- Verify import documents, including PI, CI, PL, and other shipping documents.
- Handle procurement of imported materials and ensure timely order execution.
- Monitor shipment status, vessel tracking, and cargo arrival.
- Coordinate with C&F agents and relevant stakeholders to ensure timely customs clearance.
- Source and develop alternative international suppliers to ensure uninterrupted supply.
- Handle supply chain disruptions, material shortages, and procurement-related issues.
- Maintain effective communication with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal departments to ensure smooth procurement operations.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg)
- Candidate from any reputed Private/Public Universities.
- Candidate with MBA/PGDSCM will get preference.
Experience Requirements
- 4 to 6 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Plastic/ Polymer Industry, Supply Chain
Additional Job Requirements
- Age 30 to 40 years
- Must be honest, dedicated and loyal.
- Must have experience in the field of procurement regarding Injection Mold, Blow Mold, Preform Mold, Injection Molding Machine, Blow Molding Machine and their spare parts

- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
