Job Description / Responsibility

Job Context
For our Sourcing Office in Dhaka - we are looking for an Junior Logistics Officer.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Logistics Team Leader, Merchandisers, Suppliers, and will report to the Logistics Officer.
Availability: Immediate
Job Responsibilities
To help logistics officer to prepared report to measure the performance of the supplier in terms of booking /delivery/ document /payment, etc.
Communicate with buyers and merchandisers for approval and delivery confirmation.
Communicate with suppliers, forwarders, and other logistics partners.
Follow up all PO from the booking to shipment to ensure smooth logistics operations at end to supply chain.
Coordinate with warehouse and customs teams to ensure timely receipt, processing, and recording of inbound shipments.
Update logistics systems with shipment status, check-in/check-out information, ASN verification, and other shipment-related data.
Verify the accuracy and completeness of shipping documents, including Purchase Orders, Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Bills of Lading, ASN, T1 documents, and other relevant import documentation.
Coordinate with freight forwarders to arrange transportation from ports and airports to the designated HUB.
Monitor and track inbound import shipments from origin until delivery at the Customs Bonded HUB.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor/Honors
Masters

Experience Requirements

2 to 3 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments, Logistic/Courier/Air Express Companies, Logistics Startup

Additional Job Requirements

Age 22 to 35 years
• Experience in logistic department in any reputed company
• Experience at a European Liaison Office or Buying House will be an advantage
• Good knowledge in business (SAP, PLM and Excel) is an advantage.
• Applicants must have excellent knowledge in international logistics
• Must be cooperative and able to work in a team as well as independently in a fast paced environment
• Must demonstrate communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent English knowledge orally and written
• Candidate should be self-motivated and should have positive attitude to sustain the nice office environment
• Must show Commitment and loyalty to the organization.
