Job Description / Responsibility
- We are urgently hiring an experienced We are urgently hiring an experienced Fashion Designer & Product Developer for VITTORIO LUSSO’s female clothing brand Kashmira.
- Fashion Designer & Product Developer – Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Design commercially viable women's apparel collections aligned with Kashmira's brand identity, customer preferences, and market trends.
- Research fashion trends and develop seasonal concepts, mood boards, sketches, technical drawings, tech packs, and specification sheets.
- Select appropriate fabrics, colors, prints, embroidery, trims, accessories, and finishing details for each collection.
- Calculate fabric consumption and support product costing, material planning, and production feasibility.
- Coordinate with sourcing, pattern making, sampling, merchandising, and production teams throughout the product development process.
- Supervise sample development, fittings, revisions, and final sample approvals to ensure excellent fit, quality, and functionality.
- Ensure all designs are commercially viable, production-friendly, cost-effective, and meet Kashmira's quality standards.
- Prepare technical artwork, measurement charts, construction details, and production guidelines for manufacturing.
- Monitor product development timelines to ensure collections are completed according to the production schedule.
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer feedback analysis to identify opportunities for new product development and continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate design files, tech packs, seasonal collections, sample records, and product documentation.
- Perform any other duties assigned by management.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Fashion Designing
- BGMEA University of Fashion Technology,Shanto Mariam University of Creative Technology students will get preference
- ফ্যাশন ডিজাইন বিষয়ে ডিপ্লোমা/ ডিগ্রি (BUFT / Shanto-Mariam / NIFT বা সমমান)।
- Bachelor`s Degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
Experience Requirements
- 3 to 5 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Boutique/ Fashion, Garments, Buying House
Additional Job Requirements
- Age 25 to 40 years
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in women`s apparel or fashion design.
- Strong knowledge of fabrics, garment construction, pattern making, and fabric consumption.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and MS Office.
- Strong creativity, trend forecasting, and commercial design sense.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and time management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
