Job Description / Responsibility

Lead and manage the overall compliance function for the factory.
Coordinate all Compliance/Security audits such as (RSC, WRAP, GSV, BSCI, SEDEX, ISO, BETTER WORK, C-TPAT, NIRAPON, HIGG, OCS, RCS, etc.) and prepare Audit CAP against Auditor & first-party and third-party.
Handle all RSC (RMG Sustainability Council) inspections, remediation activities, follow-up actions, and documentation.
Thorough understanding of social compliance, fire & electrical safety, building safety, environmental compliance, and occupational health & safety.
Strong knowledge of Bangladesh Labour Law, Labour Rules, and international compliance standards.
Ensure and maintain all compliance-related issues, buyer`s COC, and legal requirements.
Prepare SOP for Compliance. Handling training & development, disciplinary actions, employee relations, grievance handling, etc.
Ensure to register, prepare, and update policies and procedures as per Bangladesh Labor Law & clients` requirements.
Check all data, records, formats, statements, racks, files, and registers of all departments, which should be properly prepared, updated, and maintained as per compliance requirements/standards.
Floor visit every day as per various compliance issues.
Handle buyer audits, certifications, corrective action plans (CAP), and follow-up activities.
Any other assignment as assigned by the top management.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Environmental Science
Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
Professional certifications related to Compliance, Occupational Health & Safety, Social Compliance, Fire Safety, or Environmental Management will be considered an added advantage.

Experience Requirements

5 to 10 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments
