Job Description / Responsibility

Operate and monitor electrical substations, including current converters, voltage transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical distribution equipment.
Record switchboard instrument readings and maintain accurate records of electricity consumption, power distribution, and substation operations.
Coordinate with the Load Dispatcher or relevant authority regarding electricity supply, switching operations, and emergency shutdown procedures.
Monitor switchboard instruments to identify electrical faults such as short circuits, ground faults, and open circuits, and take immediate corrective action.
Operate circuit breakers and switching equipment to isolate faulty electrical lines and restore power through alternate circuits.
Monitor and record transformer temperatures and other operating parameters at scheduled intervals.
Inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot transformers, circuit breakers, pumps, cooling fans, batteries, electrical panels, and associated equipment.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of hydraulic machines, compressors, generators, and other production machinery.
Repair and overhaul electric motors, including motor winding (motor binding/rewinding) and testing.
Maintain and troubleshoot Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) equipment and utility systems.
Maintain air compressors, compressed air distribution systems, and associated accessories.
Ensure compliance with occupational health, safety, electrical safety, environmental regulations, and company policies.
Support all internal and external audits, including Social Compliance, Electrical Safety, Environmental, Technical, ISO, Buyer, and Government inspections.
Perform any other maintenance-related duties assigned by management.

Educational Requirements

Diploma in Electrical
HSC
ABC License

Experience Requirements

3 to 5 years
