Project Manager - Construction

Job Description / Responsibility

Plan, organize, execute, and monitor construction projects from initiation to handover.
Prepare project execution plans, work schedules, resource plans, and budgets.
Ensure project completion within the approved scope, time, budget, and quality standards.
Monitor project progress and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, structural engineers, MEP engineers, contractors, and suppliers.
Manage site engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and construction teams.
Review drawings, specifications, BOQ, method statements, and construction schedules.
Ensure compliance with Bangladesh National Building Code (BNBC), project specifications, and relevant safety regulations.
Monitor project costs and implement effective cost control measures.
Identify project risks and develop mitigation plans.
Verify contractors` bills, work measurements, and progress claims.
Ensure availability of manpower, materials, equipment, and other project resources.
Conduct regular site inspections to maintain construction quality and workplace safety.
Resolve technical and operational issues during project execution.
Attend project coordination meetings and maintain effective communication with stakeholders.
Prepare project completion reports, handover documentation, and close-out reports.
Perform any other duties assigned by the management.
Strong leadership, team management, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple project activities simultaneously.
Good command of both English and Bangla (written and spoken)

Educational Requirements

Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Civil Engineering

Experience Requirements

8 to 15 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Developer, Real Estate

Additional Job Requirements

Age 30 to 40 years
Only Male
Experience in high-rise commercial, Govt. work, residential, industrial or institutional projects will be preferred.
