Job Description / Responsibility
- Minerva Hospital is committed to becoming Bangladesh`s leading center for Digestive, Liver, Metabolic, Lifestyle and Preventive Healthcare. We are looking for a dynamic, scientifically competent and innovative professional to join our Medical Affairs team and support scientific communication, patient education, staff training and healthcare marketing.
- Job Responsibilities
- Develop evidence-based medical and scientific content on Fatty Liver, IBS, Liver Diseases, Diabetes, Obesity, Gastroenterology, Skin Diseases and other specialty services.
- Review and validate all medical content before publication on digital platforms.
- Prepare patient education leaflets, brochures, FAQs, blogs, videos and awareness materials.
- Develop disease-specific communication scripts for the Call Center team.
- Train Call Center Executives on disease knowledge, patient counseling and effective patient communication.
- Conduct regular scientific training sessions for Marketing, Business Development and Corporate teams regarding diseases, diagnostic tests and hospital services.
- Prepare scientific presentations, CME materials and educational resources for consultants.
- Support the launch of new diagnostic tests, specialty clinics and healthcare services through scientific communication.
- Review international clinical guidelines, research articles and evidence to ensure updated educational materials.
- Work closely with Digital Marketing, Laboratory, Consultants and Hospital Management to ensure scientifically accurate communication.
Educational Requirements
- Master of Science (MSc)
- Bachelor of Science (BSc)
- M.Pharm (Preferred)
- B.Pharm
- MSc in Biotechnology
- MSc in Microbiology
- MSc in Biochemistry
- MPH or equivalent Health Science qualification
Experience Requirements
- 2 to 5 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Diagnostic Centre, Clinic, Chamber
Additional Job Requirements
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in Medical Affairs, Product Management, Scientific Communications, Clinical Training, Healthcare Marketing or related fields.
- Experience in a pharmaceutical company, hospital or diagnostic centre will be given preference.
- Required Skills
- Strong understanding of disease pathology, diagnostics and treatment concepts.
- Excellent scientific writing skills in both Bangla and English.
- Strong presentation and training skills.
- Ability to simplify complex medical information for patients and healthcare professionals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint), Canva and AI-assisted content development tools.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
