Job Description / Responsibility

Employment Status:
Permanent in the rank up to First Assistant Vice President
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct technical evaluation of project finance proposals from an engineering perspective.
Assess project feasibility, construction methodology, project cost estimates and implementation schedules.
Verify project progress through site inspections and technical due diligence.
Evaluate civil engineering drawings, structural designs, and technical reports.
Assess project risks and provide recommendations to support credit decisions.
Coordinate with Relationship Managers, Credit Analysts, and external consultants regarding project assessments.
Prepare comprehensive technical evaluation reports for Management and Credit Committee.
Ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards, environmental regulations, and Bangladesh Bank guidelines.

Educational Requirements

B.Sc. in Civil/ Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.
Master's degree or professional certifications in Project Management or Construction Management will be considered an added advantage.

Experience Requirements

At least 4 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Banks

Age At most 45 years
Experience Requirements
Minimum 4 years of Banking experience in civil/mechanical engineering, project management, infrastructure development, or project financing.
Experience in evaluating industrial, commercial, and infrastructure projects will be an added advantage.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Strong understanding of project appraisal and construction management.
Ability to analyze project costs, engineering specifications, and implementation risks.
Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in engineering software and Microsoft Office applications
Sound understanding of regulatory compliance and risk management.
Ability to work under pressure and achieve business targets.
Age – Maximum 45 Years as of deadline of application date.
