Job Description / Responsibility
- Strategic Leadership:
- Provide overall leadership and direction for all hotel operations.
- Develop and implement business strategies to maximize revenue, profitability, and guest satisfaction.
- Ensure achievement of annual financial budgets, GOP, RevPAR, ADR, occupancy, and departmental KPIs.
- Drive business growth through innovative sales, marketing, and revenue strategies.
- Hotel Operations:
- Supervise the daily operations of Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Kitchen, Sales & Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, Engineering, Security, and Procurement.
- Ensure smooth operational efficiency while maintaining Best Western brand standards.
- Monitor service quality and continuously improve guest experience.
- Conduct regular operational meetings with Heads of Departments.
- Financial Management:
- Prepare and manage annual operating budgets.
- Monitor revenue, expenses, payroll, and departmental profitability.
- Implement effective cost-control initiatives without compromising service quality.
- Review financial reports and take corrective actions where necessary.
- Sales & Revenue Management:
- Work closely with the Sales & Marketing team to increase occupancy and revenue.
- Strengthen relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, OTAs, airlines, government organizations, and international partners.
- Monitor pricing strategies and market trends to optimize revenue performance.
- Guest Experience:
- Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction and service excellence.
- Personally handle VIP guests and major guest complaints.
- Maintain high online reputation scores across booking platforms.
- Promote a culture of personalized hospitality and service recovery.
- Human Resources & Leadership:
- Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing management team.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and coaching sessions.
- Ensure staff engagement, succession planning, and continuous training.
- Promote a positive, ethical, and performance-driven workplace culture.
- Compliance & Quality Assurance:
- Ensure compliance with all government regulations, labor laws, fire safety, food safety, health standards, and licensing requirements.
- Maintain audit readiness and operational compliance.
- Ensure implementation of hotel SOPs, policies, and international hospitality standards.
- Asset & Facility Management
- Oversee preventive maintenance of hotel facilities and equipment.
- Coordinate renovation, refurbishment, and capital expenditure projects.
- Ensure the hotel property remains in excellent operational condition.
- Business Development:
- Identify new business opportunities and strategic partnerships.
- Strengthen the hotel's market positioning and brand visibility.
- Represent the hotel at industry events, networking programs, and corporate meetings.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor/Honors
- Masters
- Bachelor's Degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Tourism Management, or a related discipline.
- Master's Degree or internationally recognized hospitality certification will be considered an added advantage.
