General Manager - Sea Pearl Sundarban Eco Resort

Job Description / Responsibility
- Resort Operations
- Lead and supervise all resort departments, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Engineering, Security, Sales & Marketing, Finance, and Human Resources.
- Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction and maintain high hospitality service standards.
- Develop and implement operational policies, SOPs, and quality assurance programs.
- Monitor occupancy, revenue, costs, and overall profitability.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations.
- Prepare annual business plans, budgets, and operational reports.
- Represent the resort in meetings with government agencies, corporate clients, and business partners.
- Fisheries Management
- Plan, supervise, and monitor fish farming activities.
- Develop strategies to improve fish production and ensure sustainable aquaculture practices.
- Manage pond preparation, stocking, feeding, harvesting, disease prevention, and water quality.
- Monitor production costs and profitability.
- Coordinate with fisheries specialists and government authorities when necessary.
- Agriculture & Landscaping
- Manage agricultural activities, including vegetable, fruit, and crop cultivation.
- Develop eco-friendly farming practices that support resort operations.
- Supervise landscaping, gardening, and plantation maintenance.
- Plan seasonal cultivation to enhance both guest experience and operational efficiency.
- Financial & Commercial Management
- Achieve revenue and profitability targets.
- Control operational expenses through effective budgeting and cost management.
- Identify new business opportunities and revenue streams.
- Work closely with the Sales & Marketing team to increase occupancy and promote the resort.
- Leadership & Human Resource Management
- Lead, mentor, and motivate departmental heads and employees.
- Build a high-performance, customer-focused team.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and staff development initiatives.
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, discipline, and continuous improvement.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor/Honors
- Master's degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Business Administration, Agriculture, Fisheries, Tourism Management, or a related discipline.
Experience Requirements
- At least 10 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Hotel, Resort
Additional Job Requirements
- Age At least 30 years
- Only Male
- Additional professional qualifications in hospitality management will be an advantage.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in hotel, resort, or hospitality operations.
- At least 5 years in a senior management position such as General Manager, Resort Manager, Operations Manager, or a similar leadership role.
- Proven experience managing eco-resorts, nature resorts, or tourism projects is highly preferred.
- Practical experience or strong working knowledge of fisheries and agricultural operations is mandatory.
- Strong leadership and strategic planning skills.
- Excellent operational and financial management capabilities.
- Knowledge of resort management systems and hospitality best practices.
- Practical understanding of fisheries, aquaculture, agriculture, and environmental sustainability.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- High integrity, professionalism, and commitment to organizational goals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and report preparation.
