Job Description / Responsibility
- We are looking for a detail-oriented Visa Consultant who can manage the full visa consultation and processing cycle while also handling basic document formatting using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
- 1. Visa Consultation
- Conduct client consultations to understand travel plans, purpose of visit, and assess visa eligibility.
- Advise clients on the correct visa type, application process, and timelines.
- Stay updated on visa regulations, required documentation, fees, and procedural changes across countries.
- Inform clients about visa fees, service charges, and ensure timely payment collection.
- Offer basic travel advice (health requirements, cultural nuances) relevant to the visa process.
- 2. Visa Processing
- Assist clients in gathering, organizing, and reviewing supporting documents (passport, photos, financial statements, invitation letters, itineraries).
- Help clients accurately complete visa application forms.
- Act as liaison with embassies, consulates, and VACs — submitting applications, attending appointments, and tracking status.
- Resolve issues such as incomplete documents, rejections, or delays.
- Maintain regular client communication and provide status updates.
- Keep accurate, confidential records of applications and communications.
- Ensure compliance with the latest immigration laws of destination countries.
- 3. Document Formatting (Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator)
- Use Photoshop and Illustrator to edit, customize, and update information on documents as required.
- No advanced graphic design expertise needed — basic proficiency in editing/updating documents through these tools is sufficient.
- 4. System Adaptability
- Willingness and ability to learn and work on the company's in-house software and systems.
- Comfortable adapting to new tools and workflows.
- 5. Additional Skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong multitasking ability
- Fast learner
- Good convincing/persuasion skills for client interactions
- Clear communication (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BSc)
- Master of Science (MSc)
- Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator; must be able to edit, customize, and update information on documents using these tools (no formal design certification required; basic hands-on proficiency is enough).
- Prior training or certification in visa processing/immigration consultancy is a plus, but not mandatory.
- Basic computer literacy (MS Office, email, data entry) required.
- Willingness to undergo in-house training on company software and systems.
- Certification in customer service or communication skills is an added advantage.
