Job Description / Responsibility

Alam Ecological Farm is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Officer to manage the financial and accounting operations of our farm in Bikrampur, Munshiganj. If you are passionate about accounting and enjoy working in a farm-based environment, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain daily books of accounts and financial records.
Prepare vouchers, invoices, and payment documentation.
Record cash, bank, and general ledger transactions accurately.
Assist in preparing monthly financial statements and reports.
Monitor expenses and maintain budgetary control.
Perform bank reconciliation and maintain banking records.
Maintain inventory and asset-related financial records.
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Support internal and external audits.
Perform any other accounting and administrative responsibilities assigned by management.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor/Honors
Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

Experience Requirements

At least 2 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM), Dairy, Farming

Additional Job Requirements

Age At least 24 years
Experience Requirements
2–5 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
Experience in agriculture, manufacturing, or a similar operational environment will be an added advantage.
Skills & Competencies
Sound knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
Strong analytical and numerical skills.
High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently in a farm-based environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure
Good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel)
Knowledge of accounting software is required
Honest, responsible, and team-oriented
