Job Description / Responsibility
- Develop and deploy custom AI solutions to automate repetitive tasks across textile manufacturing and garment production departments.
- Integrate ChatGPT and Large Language Models (LLMs) into daily workflows, customer communication, Merchandising, and internal reporting systems.
- Train internal teams and department heads on how to write effective prompts and use AI tools to increase daily productivity.
- Build AI-driven data analysis tools to predict fashion market trends, fabric demands, and seasonal apparel order volumes.
- Manage and optimize the Management Information System (MIS) to ensure seamless data flow between the textile mill and the garment factory.
- Design dynamic MIS dashboards for top management to monitor real-time production, supply chain metrics, and factory efficiency.
- Analyze complex datasets to identify operational bottlenecks, material wastage, and cost-saving opportunities in production.
- Ensure data integrity and security across all corporate databases, inventory systems, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
- Oversee in-house IT infrastructure, including network security, server maintenance, and hardware/software troubleshooting for both Garments & Textile Business units.
- Maintain and upgrade garment ERP software to sync fabric manufacturing.
- Provide prompt technical support to office staff and factory floor teams to minimize operational downtime.
- Implement robust cybersecurity protocols to protect proprietary textile designs, buyer communication records, and financial data.
- Automate the generation of MIS reports using AI tools, cutting down manual compilation time for commercial, commercial-export, and procurement teams.
- Evaluate emerging AI and IT tools tailored for the textile and apparel industry to keep both companies technologically competitive.
- Manage user access control and permissions across all corporate software, emails, and cloud storage systems to prevent data leaks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Merchandising, Production, HR, Accounts) to understand their technical pain points and deliver customized IT/AI solutions.
- Maintain regular data backups and disaster recovery plans for all critical manufacturing and business operations data.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science (CSE), Management Information Systems (MIS), Information Technology (IT), or any related field.
Experience Requirements
- At least 8 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments, Textile
Additional Job Requirements
- Age At least 40 years
- Minimum 8 years of professional experience in IT, MIS, or Tech Operations.
- Prior experience working in the Garments or Textile sector is highly preferred to understand the workflow.
- Professional training, course, or certification in ChatGPT, Prompt Engineering, or Generative AI tools.
- Proven track record of implementing AI tools and advanced ChatGPT techniques to increase office productivity and automate business workflows.
- Strong expertise in managing MIS, data analysis, corporate ERP systems, and overall IT infrastructure.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to train internal teams and present data dashboards to top management.
