Job Description / Responsibility
- Company: Dress Dhaka
- Dress Dhaka is a rapidly growing Bangladeshi brand specializing in baby and children's garments. To strengthen our brand development and expand our nationwide wholesale dealer network, we are looking for a highly experienced, dynamic, and result-oriented Senior Merchandiser dedicated to the Bangladesh local market.
- Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage baby and children's apparel collections for the Bangladesh local market.
- Plan and execute merchandising activities based on local market demand and consumer trends.
- Develop and expand dealer and sub-dealer networks across Bangladesh.
- Contribute to brand development, product positioning, and nationwide market expansion.
- Prepare product costing, pricing, and profitability analysis.
- Coordinate sourcing, supply chain, production planning, and product development.
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and identify new business opportunities.
- Collect and develop new fashion collections in line with local market requirements.
Educational Requirements
- MBA (Master of Business Administration) or equivalent qualification.
Experience Requirements
- At least 7 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments, Online Retail Startup, Online Streaming Startup

- Experience & Requirements
- Proven experience in developing and managing local apparel brands in Bangladesh.
- Practical experience in building and managing dealer networks throughout Bangladesh, including district and rural markets.
- Strong experience in apparel design development and collection development for the local market.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in a reputed export-oriented garments manufacturing company.
- Strong knowledge of garment costing and pricing.
- Hands-on experience in merchandising, supply chain management, and production coordination.
- Sound knowledge of both local and international sourcing.
- Excellent understanding of the Bangladesh apparel market, consumer demand, and current fashion trends.
- Strong communication, negotiation, leadership, and team management skills.
