- Job Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and approve structural design calculations and drawings for buildings and interior projects
- Oversee structural integrity assessments and ensure compliance with building codes and safety standards
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards at all project stages
- Manage end-to-end interior fit-out and renovation projects from planning to handover
- Coordinate with architects, interior designers, contractors, and vendors to ensure project alignment
- Monitor on-site construction and interior work to ensure quality control and adherence to specifications
- Prepare BOQ (Bill of Quantities), cost estimates, and material specifications
- Ensure timely project delivery within approved budget
- Supervise and mentor junior engineers, designers, and site staff
- Prepare progress reports and presentations for senior management
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BSc)
- B.Sc. in Civil Engineering/ Structural Engineering (Master`s degree will be an added advantage)
- Membership of IEB (Institution of Engineers) will be given preference.
- Additional qualification/certification in Interior Design or Project Management will be preferred
Experience Requirements
- 15 to 20 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Furniture, Furniture Manufacturer, Interior Design, Real Estate
Additional Job Requirements
- Age At least 45 years
- Experience Requirements
- Minimum 15-20 years of relevant experience in structural engineering, Real Estate and Interior project management.
- Membership of IEB (Institution of Engineers) will be given preference.
- Prior experience in a similar Senior Manager or leadership role is preferred
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale structural and interior projects
- Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of structural analysis and design software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.)
- Familiarity with interior design tools (SketchUp, 3ds Max, or similar) is a plus
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Strong leadership, communication, and client-handling abilities
- Sound knowledge of relevant building codes, standards, and safety regulations
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
