Job Description / Responsibility

We are one of the largest export-based Porcelain / Tableware manufacturing industry in Bangladesh and looking for a suitable candidate for the position of Manger – R & D at our Factory Office.
The selected candidate will be responsible to lead the R & D activities for Body, Glaze and Lab sections of the factory.
Major Job Responsibilities for the position are:
Develop and improve body and glaze formulations.
Ensure smooth operation of the body preparation, glaze preparation, and lab testing processes.
Conduct defect analysis, root-cause studies, and implement corrective actions.
Support production teams with technical guidance and process improvement.
Maintain quality standards through continuous development and innovation.

Educational Requirements

Diploma or BSc. in Ceramic Technology / Engineering. BSc in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry is also preferred.

Experience Requirements

At least 7 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Tiles/Ceramic

Additional Job Requirements

Age At most 50 years
Sound knowledge of body/glaze chemistry, lab testing methods, and process control.
Experience in production support, defect troubleshooting, and material optimization.
Strong leadership and analytical skills.
Good communication skills in English.
