Job Description / Responsibility

Job Summary
GLOBE GLOVES (BANGLADESH) MFG CO. LTD is looking for an experienced and dynamic Manager – Supply Chain Management to oversee and optimize procurement, sourcing, inventory, logistics, and overall supply chain operations.
Location: Head Office – House No. 73, Road 13/A, Block D, Banani, Dhaka
Manage end-to-end supply chain, procurement, logistics, and inventory operations.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials at competitive costs.
Monitor inventory, supplier performance, lead times, and operational efficiency.
Negotiate with suppliers to achieve the best price, quality, and delivery terms.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and continuously improve supply chain processes.
Coordinate with Production, Sales, Finance, Warehouse, and other departments.
Prepare reports and performance analysis for management.
Lead, motivate, and develop the supply chain team.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Supply Chain Management
Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Supply Chain Management
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a relevant discipline.

Experience Requirements

5 to 8 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Manufacturing (FMCG), Garments

Additional Job Requirements

5–8 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Strong leadership, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and vendor management capabilities.
Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/Supply Chain Management software.
Relevant professional certification will be an added advantage.
