Job Description / Responsibility

Post Name/Designation: Business Development Manager with additional assignment as Company Representative
Lead purchasing of products and components within Category Textiles and lead the IKEA office in Bangladesh (approx. 110 MEUR business).
Secure the right pre-conditions to achieve professional long-term business development and results for Textiles and other categories in Bangladesh.
Act as an ambassador of IKEA values and a role model for fact-based business leadership.
Own the Leadership and Competence agenda for the business team – recruitment, development, performance management, retention and succession planning.
Establish and manage the team's cost budget, ensuring optimal use of resources and organizational efficiency.
Contribute to the long-term Category Business Plan as part of the Category Management team.
As Company Representative (ISAG): Own Risk Management and Safety & Security for the Dhaka site, safeguard office operations and costs, support local recruitment, and represent the Dhaka Site in Supply Area South Asia Management meetings.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor/Honors
Masters
Graduation/post-graduation in the relevant field.

Experience Requirements

3 to 5 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Advertising Agency
