Job Description / Responsibility
- Job Context:
- We are looking for a dynamic, results-oriented, and experienced Sr. Executive/Assistant Manager – Tender Sales to manage tender-related sales activities for Lift, Solar, Fire-Fighting, HVAC, and Generator solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of government and private sector tendering processes, excellent coordination skills, and the ability to achieve sales targets through successful bid management.
- Job Responsibility:
- Identify and monitor government, semi-government, autonomous, NGO, and private sector tender opportunities through e-GP, newspapers, and other procurement portals.
- Prepare, review, and submit technical and commercial tender documents accurately and within deadlines.
- Coordinate with principals, suppliers, engineering, finance, and management teams to ensure complete tender compliance.
- Analyze tender specifications and prepare technical/commercial proposals.
- Maintain strong relationships with government organizations, consultants, contractors, and key clients.
- Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, technical discussions, and tender clarifications.
- Prepare quotations, BOQs, cost analyses, and pricing strategies.
- Follow up on tender evaluations, purchase orders, contract awards, and payment collections.
- Maintain proper documentation of bids, contracts, and customer correspondence.
- Achieve assigned sales and business development targets.
- Prepare regular sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and market intelligence reports.
Educational Requirements
Experience Requirements
- At least 2 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Electronic Equipment/Home Appliances, Escalator/Elevator/Lift, HVAC System, Industrial Machineries (Generator, Diesel Engine etc.), Solar Energy
Additional Job Requirements
- Age 24 to 40 years
- Strong knowledge of Bangladesh Public Procurement Rules (PPR) and e-GP tender submission process.
- Proven experience in preparing technical and commercial tender documentation.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and PDF editing tools.
- Ability to prepare BOQ, quotations, comparative statements, and costing.
- Experience in dealing with consultants, architects, contractors, and government agencies.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tenders simultaneously.
