Job Description / Responsibility

Location: Naibari, Pubail, Gazipur.
Responsibilities & Context
Maintain regular communication with workers and worker representatives and identify welfare-related concerns.
Receive, record, investigate and follow up on worker grievances and complaints.
Ensure workers understand their rights, benefits, workplace rules and available support mechanisms.
Support worker-management communication and maintain positive industrial relations.
Monitor implementation of worker welfare facilities, including canteen, drinking water, sanitation, rest areas, medical support and other welfare provisions.
Support Safety Committee, Participation Committee and other worker committees as applicable.
Conduct regular worker interviews, floor visits and welfare surveys to identify concerns.
Assist in resolving issues related to wages, overtime, leave, benefits, working conditions and workplace behavior by coordinating with HR/Compliance.
Support awareness programs on labor rights, grievance mechanisms, harassment prevention, health, safety and workplace conduct.
Monitor and support compliance regarding maternity protection, female worker welfare and special worker needs.
Maintain proper grievance registers, worker feedback records, committee meeting minutes and welfare documentation.
Support Buyer, BSCI, SEDEX/SMETA, WRAP, Better Work and other social compliance audits during worker interviews and welfare assessments.
Ensure non-retaliation and confidentiality in handling worker complaints.
Prepare regular welfare, grievance and worker engagement reports for Compliance/HR management.
Escalate serious grievances, worker disputes, harassment allegations or potential compliance violations immediately.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor/Honors
Masters

Experience Requirements

2 to 5 years
