Job Description / Responsibility
- To ensure plant productivity & efficiency through Lean Manufacturing & Six Sigma Methodologies complied with GQS (GILDAN Quality System)
- Identify & measure the lean wastages to everywhere, develop & implement lean-six sigma tools & technique for process & quality improvement.
- Improve productivity and efficiency through removing the bottleneck in production flow.
- SMV/SAM/CycleTime calculation through Time study, method study, workflow measurement, Capacity study as well as ergonomically.
- Develop standard compliant Product & Process layout, space layout, standard work instructions, labor utilization standard & cost analysis as required through Value stream mapping (VSM) & KAIZEN tools.
- Identify NVA(Non Value Added) activity and NPT(Non Productive Time) and reduce it through different IE tools.
- Maintaining all of operational GQS procedures, instructions & format.
- Do cost saving projects assigned by immediate supervisor.
- Trained & developed to direct & indirect workforce according to SOP.
- Check all the existing methods Vs Standard, identify low efficient workers & develop & maintaining instructions for progressive works & proactive & corrective instructions with the aid of top management.
- Maintaining engineering involvements with new worker hiring, orientation, training & development, evaluation process.
- Proposed & recommended strategies for KAIZEN to optimize our facilities, ergonomic, safety by eliminating waste.
- Report all of required work done to his/her superior.
- Perform any other operation-related function indicated by immediate supervisor.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering, Industrial Eng & Production, Industrial Engineering
- Preferred Professional Certification: Microsoft Certified Professional,Desirable CCIE Cisco
Experience Requirements
- At least 1 year
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments, Group of Companies, Multinational Companies, Textile
