Job Description / Responsibility

Oversee daily production execution for the shift, including machine allocation and style change-overs per the production plan.
Monitor machine efficiency and uptime; respond promptly to breakdowns and coordinate with the maintenance team.
Ensure shift production targets (output in kg, efficiency %) are met, and report variances with reasons.
Supervise knitting operators and technicians on shift - task allocation, discipline, and on-the-job guidance.
Coordinate directly with the Quality Officer on quality holds, and drive timely corrective action at the machine level.
Verify correct yarn issuance and machine settings against the production plan and specification before and during runs.
Maintain shift production reports covering output, downtime, and wastage.
Escalate technical, resource, or quality issues beyond shift-level authority to the Knitting Manager or Head Technologist.
Ensure safety procedures and floor discipline are followed throughout the shift.
Any others task assign by management.

Educational Requirements

Diploma in Engineering in Mechanical Engineering, Textile Engineering
Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering, Textile Engineering

Experience Requirements

At least 2 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments, Textile

Additional Job Requirements

Age 18 to 40 years
Solid understanding of circular knitting machine operation, common settings, and troubleshooting.
Production planning and manpower allocation across a shift.
Sound, timely decision-making under time pressure, including knowing when to escalate versus resolve directly.
People management - supervising, motivating, and maintaining discipline among shift staff.
Clear, concise shift reporting and handover to the next shift.
