Job Description / Responsibility
- We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Pattern/Sample Maker (Denim Pants) to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate pattern development, efficient sample execution, and maintaining high-quality standards in line with buyer requirements. The position requires close coordination with merchandising, production, and quality teams to ensure timely, error-free sample submission and smooth production readiness.
- Strong expertise in pattern making and grading, with the ability to execute production with zero errors.
- Well-sound in fabric consumption calculation.
- Skilled in handling spandex denim fabrics.
- Prior experience working with GAP buyers will be an added advantage
- Able to develop garment samples ensuring good quality, including Pants, shirts, jackets, and cargo pants (across both denim and non-denim fabric types).
- Capable of understanding design sketches/Photo to make sample.
- Hands-on technical proficiency in operating all relevant industrial sewing and machinery.
Educational Requirements
- Minimum HSC/Graduation from any reputed Institution/University.
- Educational requirements may be relaxed for highly skilled and experienced.
Experience Requirements
- 2 to 5 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments
Additional Job Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in garments industry (Pattern/Sample Making).
- Software proficiency: TUKA TECH
- Experience in denim (especially spandex denim) is highly preferred.
- Strong expertise in pattern making and grading
- In-depth knowledge of fabric consumption calculation
- Hands-on experience in sample development, fitting, and evaluation
- Familiarity with PLM systems is highly preferred
- Good communication and reporting skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
