Job Description / Responsibility
- Develop and maintain business relationships with international buyers, buying houses, sourcing companies, brands, and importers.
- Explore and develop new export business opportunities in international markets.
- Handle customer inquiries, product development, quotations, costing, negotiations, order confirmation, and follow-up.
- Coordinate closely with Merchandising, Production, Quality, Planning, and Commercial/Export departments to ensure smooth execution of export orders.
- Understand buyer requirements, product specifications, quality standards, delivery schedules, and compliance requirements.
- Follow up on sample development, approvals, order placement, production status, inspection, and shipment.
- Monitor market trends, customer requirements, competitor activities, and potential new markets.
- Maintain regular communication with existing and prospective international customers.
- Prepare sales forecasts, business development plans, customer reports, and management updates.
- Achieve assigned sales/business development targets and contribute to the company`s export growth.
Educational Requirements
- Masters
- Strong practical experience and knowledge of Handbag Manufacturing will be given preference.
Experience Requirements
- 4 to 7 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments, Garments Accessories, Woven Manufacturing
Additional Job Requirements
- Age 30 to 45 years
- Only Male
- Relevant experience in Sales/Business Development/Export Sales in the Handbag, Bag, Luggage, Leather Goods, Fashion Accessories, or similar manufacturing industry.
- Experience dealing with international buyers, buying houses, sourcing offices, brands, or export-oriented factories will be highly preferred.
- Candidates should have a good understanding of handbag materials, accessories, construction, production processes, quality requirements, product development, costing, and export order execution.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, customer relationship management, and business development skills.
- Good command of written and spoken English is essential.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and follow-up capabilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office/Excel and other relevant business applications.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
