Job Description / Responsibility
- Prepare and maintain production plans, line plans, loading plans, and delivery schedules based on confirmed orders and shipment requirements.
- Plan production according to order priority, capacity, manpower, machine availability, and delivery commitments.
- Coordinate with Merchandising, Production, IE, PPC, Procurement, Warehouse, Quality, and Commercial/Export departments to ensure smooth order execution.
- Follow up on order status, material availability, sample approvals, production readiness, and shipment deadlines.
- Monitor daily production progress against the approved plan and identify deviations or potential delays.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production planning and progress reports for management.
- Analyze factory capacity and production efficiency to maximize machine and manpower utilization.
- Ensure proper production sequence and effective allocation of orders among production lines.
- Closely monitor WIP (Work in Progress) and ensure smooth movement of materials and semi-finished goods through different production processes.
- Coordinate with the concerned departments to resolve production bottlenecks and minimize idle time.
- Prepare realistic T&A (Time and Action) plans and monitor key production milestones.
- Monitor production lead time, efficiency, output, rejection/rework, and on-time delivery performance.
- Assist management in capacity analysis, production forecasting, and shipment planning.
- Maintain accurate planning records and provide timely updates to management regarding order status, capacity constraints, and delivery risks.
Educational Requirements
- Masters
- Strong practical experience and knowledge of Handbag Manufacturing will be given preference.
Experience Requirements
- 4 to 7 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments, Garments Accessories, Woven Manufacturing
Additional Job Requirements
- Age 30 to 45 years
- Only Male
- Relevant experience in Planning/PPC/Production Planning in the Bag, Luggage, Handbag, Leather Goods, Fashion Accessories, or similar manufacturing industry.
- Good understanding of handbag production processes, production capacity, line balancing, material flow, WIP management, production lead time and shipment planning.
- Experience in planning for 100% export-oriented manufacturing factories will be highly preferred.
- Knowledge of working with international buyer requirements, delivery schedules, T&A, order priorities, and export shipment deadlines will be an advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, coordination and follow-up skills.
- Excellent ability to work under pressure and meet tight production and shipment deadlines.
- Good command of MS Excel and MS Office; knowledge of ERP/planning software will be an advantage.
- Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate
