Job Description / Responsibility
- We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Product Research & Sourcing Manager to join our team and help build and grow a product-based e-commerce business in Bangladesh.

- The main responsibility of this position is to identify profitable and trending products, research the Bangladesh market, analyze competitors, validate products, source reliable suppliers from China, calculate product costs and profitability, and recommend suitable products for import and sale.

- We are looking for someone with strong practical experience in product research, e-commerce, China sourcing, Amazon FBA, Shopify, private label, procurement, or product development.

- Job Responsibilities

- Product Research & Market Analysis
- Research and identify trending and profitable products for the Bangladesh market.
- Analyze customer demand, market trends, competitors, and pricing.
- Identify new product opportunities through Facebook, TikTok, e-commerce platforms, marketplaces, and other sources.
- Analyze whether a product has enough demand and profit potential before recommending it.

- Product Validation & Profitability
- Validate products before placing large orders.
- Compare competitor products and selling prices.
- Calculate estimated product costs and profit margins.
- Prepare product reports and recommendations for management.
- Identify possible risks before investing in a product.
- China Supplier & Product Sourcing
- Find reliable suppliers and manufacturers from China.
- Source products through Alibaba, 1688, Taobao and other relevant platforms.
- Compare multiple suppliers based on price, quality, MOQ, production capacity, and reliability.
- Communicate and negotiate with suppliers when required.
- Recommend the best supplier and product option.
- Product Costing
- The candidate should be able to analyze and calculate:
- Product purchase price
- MOQ
- Supplier pricing
- Estimated shipping and import costs
- Estimated landed cost
- Competitor selling prices
- Recommended selling price
- Expected profit margin

- Product Recommendation
- The candidate will be responsible for recommending products based on proper research and analysis.
- For every recommended product, the candidate should be able to explain:
- Why the product should sell in Bangladesh
- Who the target customers are
- Current competition
- Expected selling price
- Estimated cost and profit
- Recommended supplier
- Potential risks and challenges
