Job Description / Responsibility

Accounts & Financial Reporting
Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements.
Ensure accurate maintenance of books of accounts and general ledger.
Monitor accounts payable, do vendor balance reconciliation and filing and verifying fixed assets accounting.
Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
Coordinate with internal and external auditors.
SAP Operations
Manage SAP FI/CO module activities and ensure accurate transaction posting.
Generate reports from SAP and to provide to auditor / consultant / Govt authority time to time.
To do the PR/SRN as and when required
Overall knowledge of SAP for assisting all stakeholders
Taxation
Assist to prepare corporate income tax returns in compliance with Bangladesh Income Tax Act.
Maintain tax records, statements, challans, and supporting documentation.
Liaise with tax authorities, consultants, and auditors.
Support tax assessments, audits, and regulatory inspections.
Monitor changes in tax laws and ensure organizational compliance.
VAT Compliance
Ensure compliance with VAT and Supplementary Duty Act and relevant regulations in factory.
Review the VAT returns and VAT-related statements.
Maintain VAT registers, purchase/sales books in software and documentation.
Reconcile VAT records with financial accounts and ERP data.
Support VAT audits and regulatory inspections.

Educational Requirements

Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting, Finance
Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting, Finance
CA Course Completed
CA or CMA partly qualified

Experience Requirements

7 to 10 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Manufacturing (FMCG), Multinational Companies
