Building Manager

Job Description / Responsibility

About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and proactive individual with prior experience in managing a building for the role of Building Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a 15-story residential apartment building. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, organized, and capable of managing building staff, addressing tenant needs, and ensuring smooth operational continuity of the property.
Key Responsibilities
Lead & Supervise: Direct a team of maintenance staff, cleaners, and security personnel. Schedule shifts, assign tasks, and conduct performance reviews.
Maintenance Oversight: Coordinate repairs, inspections, and preventative maintenance for building systems (HVAC, plumbing, elevators, etc.). Coordinate with external vendors.
Tenant Relations: Address tenant inquiries, complaints, and emergencies promptly. Foster positive relationships and ensure lease compliance.
Rent Collection: Manage monthly rent collection, track payments, issue notices for late payments, and maintain precise financial records.
Rent System Management: Operate and update rent tracking systems using Microsoft Excel. Maintain accurate payment logs, maintenance logs, occupancy reports, and operational reports.
Safety & Compliance: Ensure the building adheres to health, safety, and fire regulations.

Educational Requirements

Minimum Graduate/Bachelor`s degree in any discipline

Experience Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience in building/facility/property management

Additional Job Requirements

Candidate must live on-premise.
Candidate must be 35-50 years old male
Proficient in using Microsoft Excel for rent collection and reporting.
Physically capable of inspecting the entire building.
Strong people management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
1+ years of experience in building/facility/property management
Background in mechanical/electrical troubleshooting is a plus
Basic English language proficiency (spoken and written)
