Job Description / Responsibility

Target-Driven Business Development: Approaches MLOs, NVOCCs, freight forwarders, shippers, importers, and exporters to secure new business and consistently achieve assigned sales, revenue, and cargo-volume targets.
Client Relationship & Retention Management: Maintains exceptional relationships with existing clients and conducts regular field visits to both potential and current customers to lock in long-term partnerships.
Quotation, Freight Negotiation, & Closing: Monitors market freight rates, prepares accurate quotes, negotiates competitive rates, and proactively follows up on client inquiries to maximize business conversion.
Cross-Functional Logistics Coordination: Collaborates directly with Operations and Accounts & Finance to seamlessly manage container bookings, cargo movements, freight collection, and specific customer requirements.
Market Intelligence & Reporting: Conducts ongoing market, competitor, and demand analysis to identify growth opportunities, maintains detailed sales records, and submits regular performance reports to management.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Management
Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing, Supply Chain Management
Having a professional degree in marketing or supply chain management will be an added advantage.

Experience Requirements

At least 4 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Freight forwarding, Shipping

Additional Job Requirements

Age At most 45 years
Frequently travel to Dhaka and Chittagong.
