Job Description / Responsibility
- Fieldston Wellness, a USA-based international product development, sourcing, and export company, is seeking an experienced and motivated Product Development & Sourcing Specialist in Bangladesh to support our growing international business.
- This is a part-time remote position working directly with a U.S.-based company. The primary focus will be product research, sourcing, supplier communication, and product development.
- Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 2–4 hours per day
- Preferred Working Hours: U.S. Eastern Time (EST/EDT)
- Location: Bangladesh – Remote
- Key Responsibilities
- Research new products, suppliers, manufacturers, and market opportunities
- Identify and evaluate potential international suppliers and manufacturers
- Communicate with suppliers and manufacturers regarding products, specifications, pricing, MOQ, certifications, packaging, and production
- Request and compare quotations and product information
- Assist with product development, private-label products, packaging, and manufacturing coordination
- Follow up with suppliers regarding samples, production, quality, documentation, and delivery schedules
- Conduct online research and prepare product and supplier information for management review
- Communicate professionally with international business partners and assist with day-to-day business activities
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor/Honors
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree from a recognized and well-reputed university
Experience Requirements
- At least 8 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Trading or Export/Import
Additional Job Requirements
- Age At least 25 years
- Minimum 8 years of professional experience
- Preferred Additional Knowledge
- In addition to product development and sourcing experience, knowledge or experience in one or more of the following areas will be an advantage:
- International supply chain, logistics, and ocean freight
- Export documentation and L/C documentation
- Accounting, financial reconciliation, and QuickBooks
- Online/digital marketing
- AI tools and AI-assisted research, content creation, and business productivity
- Candidates do not need to have experience in all of these areas. We are particularly interested in candidates with strong product sourcing and research skills who may also bring expertise in one or more of the areas above.
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Strong online research and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and follow-up skills
- Strong computer and internet skills
- Highly organized, reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable communicating with international suppliers and business partners
- Ability to work independently with a U.S.-based company
- Experience using AI tools is highly preferred
- Ability to work during mutually agreed U.S. Eastern Time hours
