Job Description / Responsibility
- Verify purchase, service, and other bills/invoices against supporting documents, approvals, purchase orders, challans, and company policies.
- Review and verify AIT (Advance Income Tax) and VAT calculations, deductions, challans, and related supporting documents to ensure compliance with applicable requirements.
- Conduct physical inventory verification of raw materials, WIP, finished goods, accessories, spare parts, and other factory inventories; reconcile physical quantities with system/book records.
- Conduct factory visits twice a month to review operational activities, inventory, production-related controls, documentation, and compliance.
- Verify insurance bills and claims, including policy coverage, premium payments, supporting documents, and relevant approvals.
- Review and verify export bills and export-related documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, shipping documents, export proceeds, and other supporting records.
- Verify import and export transportation bills, including C&F, freight, transport, truck/vehicle, port, and other logistics-related expenses.
- Conduct payroll audits, including salary sheets, attendance, overtime, deductions, allowances, employee master data, and payment records.
- Identify financial, operational, compliance and internal control weaknesses and communicate audit observations to HOD.
- Check compliance with company policies, SOPs, approval procedures, and applicable laws and regulations.
- Perform cash, bank, petty cash, and expense audits as assigned.
- Reconcile ledger balances, supporting documents, and accounting records and investigate unusual or unsupported transactions.
Educational Requirements
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting, Finance
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance, Accounting
- CA(CC)/ CMA partly qualified preferred.
Experience Requirements
- At least 1 year
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Dyeing Factory, Garments, Spinning, Textile
Additional Job Requirements
- Age 18 to 35 years
- Experience in internal audit in a knit composite garment factory.
