Job Description / Responsibility

- Position Overview
- We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Merchandiser to act as a key link between buyers and production across our manufacturing hubs in Bangladesh and China. The candidate must possess deep expertise in denim product development, sourcing, and order execution from concept to shipment, with a dedicated focus on denim and ladies trousers tailored specifically for the Russian market.
- Key Responsibilities
- Handle comprehensive buyer communication and relationship management from the initial development stage through final shipment.
- Review tech packs and convert buyer requirements into workable production plans for both factories in Bangladesh and China.
- Manage sampling, costing, and end-to-end order execution.
- Coordinate seamlessly with fabric mills, washing units, and accessories suppliers.
- Source fabric and trims ensuring strict adherence to quality and cost efficiency.
- Follow up closely on production timelines across cutting, sewing, washing, and finishing stages.
- Ensure critical approvals—including lab dips, fit samples, and PP samples—are completed on schedule.
- Monitor shipments proactively to guarantee on-time delivery.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Textile, Fashion Design, Merchandising, or a relevant field.
- Added Value: A background in Textile Engineering will be considered a distinct advantage.

- Experience Required
- Minimum 10+ years of overall experience in apparel merchandising, specifically focusing on denim (Jeans / Jackets) and ladies trousers.
- Must have hands-on experience handling international buyers, with specialized expertise targeting the Russian market.
- Demonstrated experience coordinating and managing order execution across both Bangladesh and China manufacturing operations.
- Required Skills & Expertise
- Strong, specialized knowledge of denim fabric construction, washing effects, and specialized finishes.
- Proven track record in fabric and accessories sourcing.
- Strong established network with denim-focused factories and specialized washing plants.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple high-pressure orders simultaneously.
- Technical & Added Advantages
- Direct experience in China sourcing and manufacturing operations (highly preferred).
- Advanced knowledge of CAD and Tech Pack development.
- Hands-on experience utilizing modern AI tools such as Gemini, ChatGPT, and Claude.
- Ability to translate buyer concepts into actual products from concept to reality.
- Familiarity with tools like Nano Banana or other AI-based tech pack platforms.
