Job Description / Responsibility

- As we expand our operations, we are looking for a dynamic and detail‑oriented professional to join our Accounts & Finance Department
- Key Responsibilities
- Day-to-Day Accounting: Maintain daily bookkeeping, petty cash management, journal vouchers, debit/credit entries, and bank reconciliations using accounting software.
- VAT & Tax Compliance:
- Prepare and submit monthly VAT returns (Mushak 9.1) accurately and timely in accordance with NBR regulations.
- Manage Withholding Tax (TDS) and VAT Deducted at Source (VDS).
- Manage corporate tax filing, annual tax returns, and audit preparation.
- Financial Reporting & Statements: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Statement, Cash Flow Statement).
- Billing & Receivables: Prepare invoice/bills for survey and valuation services, maintain client accounts, and actively follow up on receivables.
- Audit & Reporting: Prepare ad-hoc financial and analytical reports requested by senior management and liaise with external auditors.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting, Finance
- Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Accounting & Information System
Experience Requirements
- 2 to 4 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Trading or Export/Import, Cement Industry, Shipping

- Ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality, and meet tight deadlines.
- Candidate must be organized and proactive in executing duties without needing follow-up from manager.“
- Can Do” attitude.
- Computer Literacy (Mandatory): High proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, computerized accounting software (e.g., Tally Prime, QuickBooks, or custom ERP), and e-VAT/NBR online portal submission.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in both English and Bengali.
