Job Description / Responsibility
- Job Purpose
- The Officer, Product Development Analyst, will support the Product Development Analyst function in analyzing product performance, sales, margin, stock efficiency, and product movement across stores and distribution centers. The role involves preparing product-level analysis and reports, identifying productivity gaps, supporting product evaluation, and developing systems to improve product distribution and stock efficiency.
- Key Responsibilities
- Analyze active products nationwide to evaluate sales performance, margin, and overall product productivity.
- Prepare and analyze sales and margin reports by division, department, sub-department, and product category for further discussion and evaluation.
- Identify the productivity level of individual products and highlight opportunities for improvement based on sales, margin, and stock performance.
- Analyze product traffic and movement at both store and Distribution Center (DC) levels and identify issues affecting efficient product flow.
- Develop and maintain standard sales quantity benchmarks for different product categories.
- Prepare product and category-level reports for the PAD Manager and MD team to support product evaluation and business decision-making.
- Analyze and manage minor-level stock, effective stock, and MPKM for individual products and stores to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Monitor stock efficiency at store level and identify opportunities to improve product availability and maximize sales potential.
- Monitor the consistency of product tags and variants across stores nationwide and support standardization for simulation and store operations.
- Develop and maintain systems and analytical tools to support smooth product distribution and control product traffic across stores and DCs.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to identify and resolve product movement, stock, and distribution-related issues.
- Prepare regular reports, analysis, summaries, and presentations as required by the PAD Manager and management.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor`s Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or other Exact Science-related disciplines from a reputed university.
Experience Requirements
- At most 2 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Retail Store, Chain shop
- Freshers are also encouraged to apply.
Additional Job Requirements
- Age At least 22 years
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with the ability to interpret sales, margin, stock, and product performance data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Good understanding of sales analysis, product performance, stock management, and retail operations.
- Ability to prepare structured reports and translate data into actionable business insights.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.Fluent in both written and spoken English.
- Good communication and coordination skills with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple analytical tasks within deadlines.
- Female candidates are preferred.
