Commercial Officer

Job Description / Responsibility

Handle all customs-related activities for the sweater factory.
Prepare and process customs documentation for import, export, and bonded warehouse operations.
Ensure proper utilization and maintenance of Bond Licence and related records.
Coordinate with Customs, Bond Commissionerate, and other government authorities.
Handle Bond Audit preparation, documentation, and compliance requirements.
Maintain records of imported raw materials, accessories, and their utilization against export orders.
Prepare Input-Output Coefficient (IO) and related customs documentation.
Monitor customs declarations, assessments, releases, and duty-related matters.
Ensure timely submission of customs returns, statements, and supporting documents.
Maintain and update all customs registers, challans, permits, and supporting documents.
Ensure compliance with applicable Customs, Bond, VAT, and import-export regulations.
Resolve customs-related issues, queries, and discrepancies with the concerned authorities.
Assist during customs/bond inspections, audits, and physical verification.
Maintain proper documentation to ensure smooth and compliant customs operations.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor/Honors
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or a relevant discipline.
Professional training in Customs & Bond/Commercial activities will be an advantage.

Experience Requirements

At least 5 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Sweater Industry
