Job Description / Responsibility

Job Context
Biddabari is Bangladesh's leading online platform for BCS, Bank, NTRCA, Primary, and Government Grade 11–20 exam preparation. We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Typist / Computer Operator to join our Publication department and support the preparation of our books, question papers, and other educational materials.
Job Responsibilities
Accurately type and format Bangla and English manuscripts, questions, articles, and other educational content
Perform book/page makeup, typesetting, text formatting, and document layout
Prepare and format manuscripts according to publication guidelines
Check and correct typing, spelling, punctuation, spacing, and formatting errors before finalizing documents
Work closely with the editorial team to ensure accuracy and consistency of printed materials
Make necessary corrections and revisions within given deadlines
Maintain proper formatting and layout throughout books, question papers, and other publication materials

Educational Requirements

Higher Secondary
Minimum HSC / Intermediate or equivalent qualification.
Candidates with relevant experience in publication, printing, or educational content-related work will be preferred.

Additional Job Requirements

Age 20 to 40 years
Required Skills
Good typing speed and accuracy in both Bangla and English.
Good command of MS Word and relevant typing/software tools.
Practical knowledge of page makeup, formatting, typesetting, and document layout.
Good understanding of Bangla spelling, punctuation, spacing, and basic language conventions.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in a publication house, printing press, educational institution, or content development organization will be an advantage.
Candidates who have experience appearing in government jobs or competitive examinations will be preferred.
Candidates familiar with job-examination books, question papers, model tests, and educational content will receive preference.
