Job Description / Responsibility
- We are looking for an experienced, dynamic, and results-oriented General Manager to lead the overall operations of our hotel. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving operational excellence, guest satisfaction, revenue growth, profitability, and maintaining high standards of hospitality.
- Reports to: Honorable Chairman of the Company
- Responsibilities & Job Requirements:
- Responsible for maximizing and managing upwards trends of revenue of the hotel, and ensuring that the guest satisfaction targets are met and exceeded.
- Identifies and seeks out potential business in the market.
- Maintains relationships with local companies and key people to increase the Hotel`s Brand Value within the local market.
- Plan and drive day-to-day business operations to achieve targeted sales and profit.
- Corporate client handling and taking part in new client acquisition along coordination with the sales team.
- Manage and closely monitor the Sales Team to ensure achievement of sales targets and effective follow-up of business opportunities.
- Conduct regular Sales Meetings and BEO (Banquet Event Order) Meetings as required to ensure proper coordination, communication, and execution of sales activities and events.
- Hold regular briefings and meetings with all heads of departments (HODs) and coordinate with them to execute all functions and activities.
- Set the properties Standard Operating Procedure (SOPs) in short tenure and ensures that all the SOPs are implemented and compliant accordingly.
- Set high standard service quality and ensure smooth implementation to achieve maximum guest satisfaction.
- Handling complaints, and overseeing the service recovery procedures.
- Be accountable for the responsibilities of department heads and take ownership of all guest complaints.
- Need to ensure that hotel fully complies with all relevant Government and Local Authority Legislation relevant to the operation of the hotel as a business and employer.
- Strong Analytical ability within the hotel and tourism industry.
- Strategic Business Knowledge, Communication, and presentation skills.
- The ideal candidate should have sound knowledge on-hand experience to operate PMs Software.
- Ensure the overall safety and security of the property through effective coordination, supervision, and communication with the external security service provider.
- Need to identify, investigate, and appropriately address any instances of fraud, theft, misconduct, or other incidents occurring within the property, ensuring that all such matters are handled with the highest level of professionalism, confidentiality, integrity, and discretion.
- Performs duties in all aspects of hotel operations whenever needed.
- Need to ensure that all decisions are made in the best interest of the hotels and management

Educational Requirements
- The candidate must have a university degree from a recognized local or foreign university.
- A foreign degree or professional qualification in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field will be considered an additional advantage.

Additional Job Requirements
- Age At least 40 years
- Experience requirements:
- Minimum 15–20 years of progressive experience in the hospitality industry, gained either locally or internationally.
- At least 5 years of proven experience in a General Manager, Hotel Manager, or other senior-level managerial position.
- Significant experience in managing a 4-star to 5-star hotel, preferably within an internationally recognized hotel chain or reputed hotel group.
- Strong hands-on experience in hotel operations, including Rooms Division, Food & Beverage, Sales & Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, Guest Relations, and overall property management.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, drive operational excellence, maximize revenue and profitability, maintain service standards, and ensure high levels of guest satisfaction.
- Candidates with international hotel or chain-hotel experience will be given more preference.
