Job Description / Responsibility

- Reporting To: Head of Legal / Legal Manager
- About the Role: Best Electronics Limited is looking for a dynamic, detail-oriented, and commercially minded Senior Executive – Legal to strengthen its Legal function. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing timely legal support to business operations, managing legal documentation and disputes, reviewing commercial contracts, and assisting management in mitigating legal and regulatory risks.
- Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice and support to management and business functions.
- Draft, review, vet, negotiate, and finalize commercial contracts, agreements, deeds, notices, and other legal documents.
- Manage and monitor litigation, arbitration, legal notices, claims, and disputes.
- Coordinate with external lawyers, law firms, courts, tribunals, and relevant authorities.
- Conduct legal research and advise on applicable laws, rules, regulations, and regulatory requirements.
- Support corporate, commercial, property, lease, tenancy, and other asset-related legal matters.
- Maintain proper records of agreements, case files, legal notices, deeds, licenses, and other legal documents.
- Monitor regulatory developments and assess their potential impact on business operations.
- Work closely with Finance, HR, Commercial, Procurement, Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain teams.
- Identify potential legal risks and recommend practical, business-oriented solutions.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive company and legal information.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Law (LLB)
- Master of Law (LLM)
- LL.B. / LL.M. from a recognized university.
Experience Requirements
- 3 to 5 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM), Electronic Equipment/Home Appliances, Food (Packaged), Garments, Group of Companies, Plastic/ Polymer Industry
Additional Job Requirements
- Experience
- 3–5 years of relevant professional experience in a corporate legal department, law firm, or reputed organization.
- Experience in commercial contracts, litigation management, legal documentation, and regulatory matters.
- Experience in the retail, electronics, manufacturing, trading, consumer goods, or FMCG sector will be an advantage.
