Job Description / Responsibility

A Leading Garment & Textiles Manufacturing Group of Companies in Bangladesh is looking for a proven Internal Audit professional. The Incumbent will develop and implement internal audit policies, procedures and strategies to ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations and accounting standards.
Develop and implement annual audit plans that align with the company`s overall strategic goals and objectives.
Supervise the internal audit team to ensure that audit projects are conducted efficiently, effectively, and in accordance with established standards.
Manage the risk assessment process to identify and evaluate potential areas of risk and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
Monitor and report on the progress of audit projects to senior management and the Audit Committee.
Ensure that audit findings are properly documented, communicated, and addressed in a timely manner.
Work closely with other departments to provide advice and guidance on internal controls, compliance, and risk management.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with external auditors, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders.
Provide training and guidance to internal auditors and other staff on audit methodologies, tools, and techniques. Keep up-to-date with changes in laws, regulations, and industry standards related to internal audit.
Participate in the development of policies, procedures, and guidelines related to internal audit.

Educational Requirements

BBA/MBA in Accounting/Finance
FCA/FCMA will be given preference

Experience Requirements

At least 15 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments, Group of Companies, Textile
