Job Description / Responsibility

Duties & Responsibilities:
Understand and interpret buyer sample requirements, specifications, tech packs, and comments.
Coordinate and oversee the development of samples from initial concept through buyer approval.
Coordinate with Pattern, CAD, Sample, IE, Production, Quality, Merchandising and other relevant departments.
Ensure samples are developed according to buyer specifications, measurements, and workmanship, construction, fabric and trims requirements.
Review completed samples before submission to buyers.
Ensure timely submission of samples and follow up on buyer comments and approvals.
Coordinate necessary modifications/re-sampling based on buyer feedback.
Monitor the sample development and approval timeline and ensure deadlines are achieved.
Maintain proper records of sample status, buyer comments, revisions and approvals.
Identify technical issues during sample development and coordinate corrective actions.
Guide and support the sample development team to improve sample quality, accuracy and turnaround time.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor of Science (BSc)
BSc in Textile Engineering / Graduation (not mandatory for experienced candidates)

Experience Requirements

10 to 12 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments

Additional Job Requirements

Experience in a buying house, particularly in a Buyer Quality Representative, Quality Assurance, or Technical role, will be highly preferred. The candidate should have a strong understanding of buyer requirements, quality standards, sample evaluation, technical specifications, and coordination with garment manufacturing units for sample development and approval.
10-12 years of relevant experience in sample development, preferably in the RMG/garment manufacturing industry, with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in a similar position.
