Job Description / Responsibility

Regulatory & Statutory Compliance: Ensure total compliance with the Bangladesh Labour Law (latest amendments), Bangladesh Labour Rules, and Fire Safety & Building Codes.
Social & Buyer Audits: Lead and prepare the organization for all external, buyer, and third-party social audits (e.g., BSCI, SEDEX/SMETA, WRAP, OEKO-TEX, HIGG Index, RSC/NTA).
Policy & SOP Formulation: Develop, update, and implement comprehensive HR, compliance, safety, and environmental policies across all operational units.
Health, Safety & Environment (EHS): Oversee workplace health and safety programs, emergency preparedness, regular fire drills, and environmental waste management protocols.
Grievance & Conflict Management: Maintain a transparent workplace grievance handling mechanism, managing disciplinary proceedings, show-cause notices, and investigation committees in accordance with legal requirements.
Liaison & Governance: Serve as the primary liaison with government bodies (DIFE, Fire Service & Civil Defence, DoE, BEZA) and trade organizations.
CAP & Continuous Improvement: Manage Corrective Action Plans (CAP) following any audit findings, ensuring timely closure and root-cause remedies.
Team Leadership & Training: Lead the compliance team, conduct regular employee training on safety, rights, and compliance awareness, and foster an ethical work environment.

Educational Requirements

Master of Business Administration (MBA)
Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)

Experience Requirements

10 to 12 years
