Medical Officer - Eye

Job Description / Responsibility

Examine and screen OPD patients, take histories and carry out basic eye examinations (slit-lamp, IOP, fundus).
Diagnose common eye conditions and prescribe treatment within the scope of practice, referring complex cases to consultants.
Manage emergency and casualty eye cases, including stabilization and timely referral.
Assist in surgeries (cataract and other procedures) and perform pre-operative assessments and post-operative follow-up.
Conduct and supervise community outreach, screening camps, and school eye health programs.
Guide and coordinate with paramedics, optometrists, nurses, and support staff.
Perform any other duties assigned by the management.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery(MBBS) in Ophthalmology

Experience Requirements

At least 1 year
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Hospital

Age 25 to 40 years
